Q: When will I be able to see my new rate? Your new rate will be shown in My Sales>Earnings starting September 15th, 2026.

Q: How is the 12-month sales period calculated? Your level is based on net sales (after refunds and reversals) from 3D model sales, completed 3D projects, and your share of Subscription revenue (if you are participating), calculated on a rolling 365-day basis. It's reviewed daily and can move up or down as your trailing sales change.

Q: I have a referral link that pays 85% - does that change?

No - this doesn't change. The Referral Program's 85% payout rate is a separate incentive from the standard payout rate table, and it isn't affected by the September 15 update. It applies specifically to sales from buyers who register through your referral link, for one year from their sign-up date, on top of (not instead of) your regular rate. So it's normal and expected to see 85% on referred-buyer sales even though the standard table now tops out at 80%.

Q: I disagree with my new rate - can I get an exception? Rates are calculated automatically based on your 12-month sales and are not manually adjustable on a case-by-case basis. If you believe there's a calculation error (e.g., a sale or refund wasn't reflected correctly), contact support@cgtrader.com with your username, and we'll review it.

Q: Does "Maximise your earnings" (subscriptions, enterprise licensing) affect my payout rate? No, these are separate, opt-in ways to earn from models you've already uploaded. They don't change your base payout rate on individual model sales.
