Payout Rate System Explained

Sales thresholds are calculated on a cumulative rolling 365-day basis and include 3D model sales, completed 3D projects, and revenue allocated to the Seller from Subscriptions. Thresholds are based on net sales after deduction of refunds and reversals. A Seller's payout level is reviewed on a daily basis and will be upgraded when net sales within the rolling 365-day period reach the next threshold, or downgraded if net sales fall below the threshold for the Seller's current level. A payout rate change applies to all sales completed after the effective date of the change and does not affect earnings already accrued at the prior rate.

Key Principles of the Payout System

  • Your annual sales threshold will be calculated over a rolling 365-day period.

  • A 26-level system is in place, with payout rates ranging from 60% to 85%.

  • Each level increases payouts by 1% as you progress through higher sales thresholds.

This model evaluates designers' performance, recognising designers who consistently produce high-quality, in-demand content.

The payout system offers a clear and motivating pathway for designers to grow their earnings in tandem with their sales. As success builds, so do the rewards.
