How can I delete my account?

We understand that sometimes users may want to delete their accounts. Here's how you can do it based on your account activity:

For Users Without Model Uploads or Purchases

If you have never uploaded a model and have no purchase history, you can delete your account directly:

1. Go to Settings in your account.
2. Scroll to the bottom of the first tab.
3. Click "Delete Account" and confirm your choice.

Once confirmed, your account will be permanently removed.

For Users Who Have Uploaded Models or Made Purchases

If you have ever uploaded a model (even if deleted) or made a purchase, the Delete Account button will not be available. To request account deletion, please contact our Support Team by sending an email to: support@cgtrader.com), and we will remove your account as requested.

Your account will be deleted on the front end of the website and your email will be removed from all communication lists. That means that your account will be inactive, account information will not be available or visible publicly anymore and you will not receive any further emails from us.

However, according to our Privacy policy and Privacy laws (GDPR), your personal data will have to be stored for 2 years after your last login to keep up with legal and financial requirements. If you would like to read more about this please refer to our Privacy policy.
