How will I be notified if CGTrader removes one of my products, and can I appeal?

Previously, CGTrader reserved the right to remove any content at any time without prior notice or explanation. As of the April 2026 update to §5.1 of the General Terms, the process has been updated to be more transparent:

  • When a product is removed, CGTrader will endeavour to notify you by email, including the reason for removal.
  • You have the right to appeal the removal. To do so, respond to the notification email or contact support with your model ID and the grounds for your appeal.

Similarly, if your account is suspended, CGTrader will now review and respond to suspension appeals within 15 business days of receipt (updated §3.6).

Note that the word "endeavour" means CGTrader will make reasonable efforts to notify you, but this is not an absolute guarantee in all circumstances (e.g. in cases of urgent legal or safety issues).
